Fall in Western Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle
Highlight for Album: Wichita National Wildlife Refuge, Oklahoma
Album: Wichita National Wildlife Refuge, Oklahoma

I had been in this NWR in the 1960's and wanted to see it again ,so I signed up for a short phot course with Robert Amoruso and headed west. I ended up concetrating on the horned animals with White-tail Deer and Elk rutting. I also shot the Bison and the Longhorn which roam free here. I was also able to find a few birds and enjoyed one afternoon following a large flock of feeding Wild Turkey. I photographed more landscapes than usual. The land is not spectacular like say the Rockies but is captivating !

Album: Texas Panhandle

After the Wichita Mountains in Oklahoma I moved west into the Texas panhandle. I camped and used the Palo Duro State Park as my base. This land was landscape terrain and geology detail territory, but was able to get one Coyote picture.
